It was perfect weather to be outside on Memorial Day. We needed to get out and have some fun. Our plan for the day was to go 4-wheeler riding. We packed some lunches and then made a
HUGE detour to Lagoon.

We've been promising the kids that when the snow melts off the mountains, we'll take them to Lagoon. They were so
EXCITED! Koen rode the helicopter ride at least 36 times. They both
LOVED the log ride. Koen not so thrilled about the Tidal Wave. Daradie's favorite ride was the Wild Mouse and she even went on the white roller coaster. (TaNece, no need to worry that a 5 year old is braver than you.) She was dying to ride the Catapult (yes, it is the ride that describes itself well with it's name) but thought a 5 year old should hold out for those bigger ones until they are at least 10. Dan was so anxious to see how many rides they could go on and was beaming with pride when Daradie was going on such thrilling ones. I was a bit more laid back and had just as much fun people watching and watching Koen go on the same camo-green helicopter for the afternoon.
It was the most fun detour we've had in a long time. The weather was great and we all had a blast.
Lagoon, it's what fun is!

Proud of ya! You used your camera!
What a fun day! The white roller coaster?? Please tell me they have updated it from 1983 when I went on it... I don't know that they have! I love it when the kids will go on the big rides with us (or me... Scott's kind of a scaredy- pants!!)
