Bangin' Easter Traditions

I'm sure some families have traditions that are solemn, special and well....traditional. We don't roll like that here in the Peck house. We go shoot guns. Dan has quiet the collection of guns. He likes to bring them out every so often to keep them "fresh." We like to take advantage of that time.

He's instilled the fire of hunting and all things manly in Koen. Koen's proof of hitting his target.

Daradie even got on in the action. She was a little hesitant at first but that Annie Oakley quickly came out.

I even had to give it a whirl. (It might help if I keep my eyes open.)

Terrific Tree House

If you have been hiding under a rock then come out! Go visit the fabulous Tree House Museum in Ogden, Utah. My kids love it! They just can't get enough of all the magic storytelling and imagination going on in there.
Koen and Cousin Canon trying to pull out King Arthur's sword.

Koen showing me how to milk a cow. He now wants to own a cow.

A little queen that needs a moment to herself.

Ohhhh, the Joys of a Mom

Koen answering questions found on a child menu's place mat: 1. If you could have any kind of pet, what would you have? Horse 2. If you could be President of the United States of America, what would you do? Move to another State so no one could find me 3. If you found a genie in a bottle what would you wish for? A magic carpet 4. If you had $1000 what would you do with it? Go to China 5. If you could travel to any place in the world, where would you go? Africa (Watching Three Amigos in the 101 things to do with a large box phase.)

Message typed on the computer from Daradie: Dear Mom, I want my ears pierced, but Dad said no. Breakfast conversation:

Daradie: Can you make me home lunch tomorrow for school?

Me: Are you sure? This week you're having all the food you like if I remember right.

Koen: Maybe they'll fill your tray with sugar. You LOVE sugar.
