A note found under Daradie's pillow inside a Ziploc baggie along with her tooth...waiting patiently:
Dear Tooth Fairy,
My dog Skippy is a just a puppy. He's learning to not chew and eat things. Please don't leave my present outside by the front door. My mom said that's why I didn't get my tooth fairy money because you left it outside and the dog ate it. Will you remember that for tonight please?
